F.A.Q.

You have questions… We try our best to give Answers

NO! We are not buying or selling anything. This site is generally a resource for people looking for more information about RVs, Trailers, and Camping in general.
We might make a few cents if you click on any ads featured on this website, but other than that this site is just a resource and community page.

We would love to give you an exact dollar amount, but it’s not always that simple. Our best advice is to read through the articles and resources provided on this page and other sites we link to.

Great question! This will depend on several factors. Your budget, needs, location, lifestyle, and comfort level will all play into this decision. There are Pro’s and Con’s to buying New and Used RV’s so we recommend looking over the articles and resources we provide on our site. If you’re still not sure we invite you to reach out to us and we will try to guide you. You are also welcome to leave and respond to comment from our readers who have their own perspective.

For some people this is going to come down to preference. For others it’s a matter of logistics. There are advantages and disadvantages to both.
One can start by thinking how comfortable they are driving a large vehicle vs driving a normal sized pick up that is towing a trailer. Other factors may include making short day trips, and using the facilities (kitchen & toilet) while in transit. We recommend talking to people that have both types of RVs and making your own list of Pro’s and Con’s before shopping around.

This question is often discussed at RV parks and campgrounds, sometimes with great passion. So while there’s no easy way to answer this for everyone, we can try to point you in the right direction.
First you need to ask yourself a few questions. The answers to these will help you decide.
What is your budget?
How many people will use this RV?
Will you use it for weekend getaways, long road trips, extended cross country tours, or living in part/full time?
What amenities will you want?
How big of a vehicle or trailer are you comfortable driving?
As we have mentioned before, talk to other RV owners and make a Pro’s and Con’s list. Then start browsing online listings or visiting local RV dealers so you can get a sense of what will work best for you.
Another great option is to rent an RV similar to one that you are considering to buy and see if it’s everything you had hoped for.
