Although Roger & I have attended several vintage camper rallies in the past year, the Sullivan Lake venture is our maiden voyage into the rally scene. We are both young retirees with a lot of time on our hands and WILD imaginations! Best of all, we are having a blast planning this with our best friends, Jan & Dan Kleptz (co-wagonmasters). We do not have any pictures of our past rallies because there WERE no past rallies. If there is a difference between a trailer rally and a camper rally, I plead ignorant. We have a lot of neat activities planned, but there will also be free time to swim, fish & golf. The climax of the weekend will be the "SHINE & SHOW" open house for the public. Sullivan Lake & Park is a large campground facility (around 500 sites) so this event will be well attended by camper enthusiasts! We are also trying to get a renouned (to this area) Elvis impersonater for that last night. We are hoping for a well -rounded participation from all the vintage camper sectors...bring in those old pop ups! Thank you for lending us your ear, Penny!
